Medical Team Development:
Since MedEvent®, Inc provides medical team coverage of special events, we have a substantial knowledge of the needs for special event needs. We have often learned the hard way of what is needed, and what is not needed. For promoters, we are able to use our experiences to assist you in meeting the medical staff needs for your event. We can discuss your event with you, evaluate the activities, the courses, and make recommendations for the type of staff you will need. We look at all aspects of needs, not just medical team needs. We look at the whole picture and detail. From medical team needs, to security needs, to portable facilities needs. We help you to not forget the little things that make a big event successful. Additionally we can provide you with an onsite "Medical Coordinator" for your event to insure the medical staff and operations go smoothly on event day.
Special Event Consultation:
If you have any special event, regardless of how large or how small, we can help with the organization. In addition to the medical coverage, we can make recommendations in other areas such as law enforcement, security needs, and other support services. Special Event Medical Coverage:
We can develop a medical team to meet the needs of your event and implement the staff on-site to provide coverage on the day of your event. We can provide on-site coverage for your event, the course, and your athletes - regardless of the size of your event!
We can also provide basic life support (BLS) or Advance Life Support (ALS) levels of care through our EMS staff. The MedEvent EMS staff consists of Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT’s) as well as paramedics and can provide on site EMS services for your event and those attending your event. The EMS aspect is only one area of our overall team approach. We also offer the Sports medicine component, that being certified athletic trainers. With the addition of athletic trainers to our team, we have a more aggressive approach to coverage. The Sports Medicine aspect allows our team to treat the participants of your events the way they should be...like athletes! Often events have participants who travel several hours to participate. These individuals don't want to be pulled from participation for a mild injury. Our athletic trainers are often able to treat your athletes and return them to participation. The other major area we differ from other agencies is the placement of our team. We go beyond the "stand by" mode of placement at the start/finish line. We actually evaluate your course and place our staff at key locations throughout the course, which further allows us to treat your athletes while they participate.
Supplemental Staffing for Your Facility:
Due to the many resources available to us at MedEvent®, Inc we are able to provide necessary supplemental sports medicine staffing for your sports medicine clinic or facility. We can provide you with Athletic Trainers that are nationally certified and come from various backgrounds such as high school, college, and private clinic settings.
Whether you are in need of additional staff coverage for events, outreach school programs, or are in need of long term temporary staffing due to staff changes, leave of absence of a staff member, or just need additional staff for your programs MedEvent®, Inc can provide temporary staffing for your facility and agency.
